I played about an hour of Halo 3 yesterday and I would agree that Bioshock is definitely better. I think when you have been waiting 3 years for a game and even bought a console mainly to play that game you would eulogise about it no matter how good it is. I’m not saying Halo 3 was bad in any way but I’m pretty sure if Bioshock had all the hype and expectation while Halo 3 was just another game it would be Bioshock that was getting the better reviews not the other way round. I even prefered Gears of War to Halo 3.

so true. Halo 3 is overrated. not like the xbox360 owners will read this, because they’re all to busy telling everyone how “awesome” it is.

Well…I think there is nothing average or run of the mill about Halo 3 as mentioned in the video. They do make a point with the difficulty curve being an issue and if anyone doesn’t give a **** about multiplayer, don’t buy the game. Halo has always been about multiplayer and that’s where Bungie puts their efforts into.

Regardless of what haters say, I still classify Halo 3 as the best game this year.

The clip was entertaining though.

People against Halo want us to believe that the marketing machine caused everyone to jump and buy the game which could be true to a small degree, but we have very short memories in this world. If it wasn’t a good game, why are 99% of my XBL friends still playing Halo all day every day. I think Bungie did an excellent job with the game and it will be fun for years.

I think the game is brilliant (just about to jump on Live, actually) but it isn’t the best game in the world by specs and technical aspects, it’s more of the experience it gives (for example, Halo 1 and 3’s final run…I don’t think any other game can match them for experience) .

That being said, yeah, this was hilarious.
