You’ll Need a Ship to Bring Down the Sky in Mass Effect

I’m extremely excited for the first helping of Mass Effect downloadable content, which was recently announced. The “Bring Down the Sky” pack’s content won’t be immediately accessible from the outset of the game – which in itself doesn’t sound like a problem, unless you consider the way the game world works.
Upon completing the game, your character is thrown back to the start of the game (at a higher difficulty, if you wish). Without spoiling anything, the final stretch of the game restricts you and doesn’t allow you the freedom you have for the majority of the game. So, unless you have a save file from before that stretch – which neither Stephen Totilo nor I had the foresight to keep – you’re going to have to invest some time into the beginning of the game until you’re given access to the Normandy.

It doesnt take that long to get full access to the normandy stop crying lewlz
Personally, I’m okay with playing through this again, since I haven’t played it on the “bad” path yet. What worries me though is if we’ll have to restart a new game for each piece of DLC that comes out.
important piece of information – thanks for sharing
they should just add a menu option to ‘explore’ the galaxy.
Allowing you to move around worlds at will.
@Ifart:
Yeah…except, considering the first stage is training and once you’ve completed the game, you REALLY don’t need training, it gets tiresome and boring, quickly. Especially running about in the Citadel.
