Xbox Originals Adds Jade Empire Today

One of BioWare’s more recent RPGs, Jade Empire, has been released today on the Xbox Live Marketplace as a new Xbox Originals title. 1200 Microsoft points ($15) is the game’s price, which is a hair under the $8 that GameStop.com wants for a used copy of the Xbox version which is backwards compatible on the Xbox 360.

Either way, you’ll be getting a very highly reviewed action RPG that would be a good starting point for any Mass Effect fan who isn’t familiar with BioWare’s previous games.

    Horrible game indeed.

I'm still amazed today at how good reviews this got back in the day. It's the most disappointing Bioware game to date. It wasn't that is was bad. It was just absolutely boring.

People give KOTOR2 (which I enjoyed) such a hard time. Those people should be directing their hate toward JE, imo.

Jade Empire was FANTASTIC! Better then KOTOR 2, KOTOR, or Mass Effect. I love all those games but Jade Empire had an amazing story and style. The characters were amazing, the soundtrack amazing, the gameplay was exciting. If you were bored then you didn't give it a try. I don't even get how people say they liked KOTOR and not Jade Empire! They're extremely similar!

Definitely worth the buy, if you can get it on PC, better. I don't know what version of Jade Empire the original is but the PC version is the best one out.
