Xbox Live Going Down Next Week

Just a heads up for all you Xbox 360 owners out there: Xbox Live will be down for maintenance on Monday, September 29. The service could be offline for up to 24 hours as the Xbox team prepares for the upcoming new Xbox experience. Sadly, when the service returns, the Fall update won’t come along with it; that’s still set to debut later this year. Still, if you’ve got any online matches that could potentially determine the course of the entire universe in some wayward fashion scheduled for Monday, you might want to postpone that.

Ooh nice. The fall update will make it Live 2.0!
Nah, it will make it to Xbox 720.
I heard that the Fall update is actually going to upgrade the hardware capabilities of the 360, making it run 29% faster.
Not likely, even if performance is improved it either won’t be by that much or it will be to reduce stuttering or sudden drops on frame rate. And on the off chance you were joking…you’re not very funny, you shouldn’t quit your day job…
sounds good, looks like it will be an offline rock band 2 day. Most games i enjoy are online multiplayer. This is acceptable for some upgrades. i hope they dont ruin the look and simplicity of the old dashboard. Those Mii like characters look lame.
I’m glad they’re upgrading the dashboard. I’m getting tired of the Wii-Looking 2D dashboard. From the looks of it, it could actually end up improving the 360’s performance.
Actually the new dashboard will be optional as with those wii rip-offs(nobody is going to use them). The new dashboard is said to be more simple.
i play cod4 all the time and i was going to meet some people and i couldnt get on but i remembered the maintenance was on monday and i cant wait till tomoz
