Racing = PS3, GT 5

With sports titles it’s had to say at this point….most sport titles are multi-platform or will be, so really it’s about the framerate…it’s been rumored that the PS3 framerate on some titles are bad, as i don’t play too many sports titles i can’t confirm or deny that.

As far as motor sports that would be the PS3 Motorstorm…it’s a pretty good game i must admit but like most racing titles it can get old rather quick depending on one’s attention span.

I tried to keep my 360 going with titles like Mass Effect (not as impressive to me as everyone else seems to think), and all my shooters are on PC, so what does that leave?

In the end, it doesn’t matter who wins the so-called ‘Console War.’ The real winner is us, the gamers. Healthy competition between 3 console manufacturers means more good consoles, games, and accessories for all of us.

Why people have to fight over which console is better is still beyond my ability to understand.

Its simple to see that MS won this year of the console war, hands down. I mean Halo 3 9.5/10, Mass Effect 9.4/10, BioShock 9.7/10 hmmm….what they won?!?! When FF13, Kill Zone 2 and MGS4 come out then yeah, maybe Sony will stand a fighting chance but until then, this industry is run by MS, face it.

Coming from someone who owns both consoles, I personally waver towards the 360 for a variety of reasons. Its obvious that right now they have the best games but there are several other reasons:

1. Online – Much better then PS3, smoother integration from gameplay to interface, clearly a service and for fuck sakes there a software company what do you expect?
2. Future Games – Too Human, KOTOR 3, Killer Instinct 2, Alan Wake, Diablo 3(Rumor), Fable 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Lost Oddessy etc etc etc. My opinion is that the 360 has an incredible lineup and will be able to easily compete with PS3.
3. PS3 games are tending to suck. I bought Liar sucked, Heavenly sword not to good, Rachet and Clank fun but not as fun as COD4 or Halo3. Bottom line they are viusally appealing but gameplay is lacking. All multiplat games run so slow which is why I buy all of them for 360.

Bottom line it is preference. This fanboy nonsense needs to end as you guys just sound like retards. Its also plain to see that with MS market share and console to games ratio that developers are giving them the top choice. So all these big titles that are coming out will be for 360. Look at there supporters, Rare, Bungie, ID, Silicon Knights, BioWare etc.

“Games are simply better on the 360 right now” -quote from the article…and it’s correct, look at the sales on Bioshock, 1.55MM copies is quite a bit, more than most PS3 titles have sold.

Halo3 “Best multi game” not very surprising considering that it’s the new FPS on the block that most 360 owners were waiting for.

Mass Effect-What more needs to be said? it came out swinging and hit it out of the park…too bad Sony couldn’t get exclusive right to that game eh? but that’s ok cause they have Lair and Heavenly Sword *snicker*

I could go on and on but let’s face facts people, at least for this year the 360 owned in the video game department…the PS3 isn’t on there for a very simple reason, most of their ‘exclusive’ titles are crap…pure and simple.

A) Because neither of those games are on the 360.

A) Uncharted isn’t on the 360.

A) Because Microsoft wanted the 360 category to include 4 of the nights award winners.

A) It only appeared in the catagory voted for by Mountain Dew drinkers. It was excluded from all the other catagorys where it should have won Breakthrough Technology, Best Individual Sports Game, Best Multiplayer Game and possibly even Game of the Year. Microsoft obviously could not allow that.

The ps3 and Xbox 360 have many great games coming out and on the way. Im not knocking the PS3 or Xbox 360. wait and see next year who has the most games. id say most good ones will be multiplatform. Both systems are good.

Games i hope for next year is : Rainbow Six vegas 2, End War, a new Rock band/Guitar hero, and any good new type game that shines, like Bioshock did.
