Wipeout HD Coming to the PS3

1up.com was able to squeeze a few more details about conversion of Wipeout Pulse for the PS3 Wipeout HD from Game Director Tony Buckley. Although he didn’t go into detail he confirmed that the Liverpool based team wants to release Wipeout HD for the PS3 quickly. The official announcement will be made in August or possibly at the upcoming E3.
1Up also gleaned that Wipeout HD will be the precursor to a “major Wipeout release pencilled in for 2008″. Wipeout HD will have an online multiplayer mode and will most likely feature HD enabled tracks from Wipeout Pulse.
