There are numerous mods out there for the Wii, but my all-time favorite has to be the invention of the “WiiJ.” Basically, it’s a DJ that controls the music and beats he plays using the motion-sensing Wii-mote. Personally, I think it’s a little more interesting and creative to have someone doing a strange dance with two Wii-motes on stage, but I guess someone wanted to go back to a more traditional look. Thanks to the wireless Guitar Hero controller for the Wii, this Dutch WiiJ, named “WiiJ Timski,” was able to give a show while looking like a guitarist. I suppose it might take a bit more skill in terms of fingering to play using this controller. Still, I guess this is one way to take Guitar Hero’s rock star fantasy to a whole new level.
