Wii Zapper to Come Packed With “Zelda Crossbow Training”

When you think “light gun game,” do the words “The Legend of Zelda” come to mind? Yeah, me neither. However, it looks like that happened to someone over at Nintendo as rumors are surfacing that the upcoming Wii Zapper will come packaged with a shooting game called “Zelda Crossbow Training.” Sources at the convention for GameStop managers in Las Vegas are saying that the game is a third-person, light gun-type game that looks just like Twilight Princess. Apparently, you can have some control over Link, but mostly you’re pointing the Zapper and shooting the crossbow. Not a bad package for $20 I guess, but I still don’t see the point of spending money on something that effectively kills the motion control on the Nunchuk side of things. I’m just hoping that the game has almost no story, as any attempt to do so would really only taint past Zelda games.

this is an interesting development I wouldn’t have expected.
Like I commented on 1up, if only he had the damn thing in TP. Sure, the range is nowhere near as great, but you get oodles more power…that would’ve been nice.
