opera wii 3 Wii Space Issues

Looks like I might have been on to something when I posted about the possibility of a Wii hard drive.

The issue of having enough space on your Wii for downloads is starting to cause some strife.

The Seattle PI Blog talks about how recently the blogger downloaded Link II and ran out of space on his Wii.

What it comes down to is the fact that you can download all the games you want doesn’t mean you’re going to be able to. You have a separate card to store the games, sure, but you can’t run them off the card.

It’s a pain in the ass, is what it is. Nintendo, any word?

I’d like to hear something from Nintendo too.
I was going to accept to use the now cheap SD cards instead of a HD, but not being able to run from it is a huge disvantage…

you can just delete the games off your wii and redownload any ones that you have purchased for free. All of your purchases are saved on nintendos servers thus creating unlimited downloads(of games that is game saves are limited however).
