cheesy violence Wii Interface Makes Video Games More Violent?

Your Wii remote is going to turn you into a savage killer!

At least, that’s what The Escapist is saying. Because you know how visceral Paper Mario is. That game makes you want to f*ck people up.

Seriously folks, this is a bunch of trash. Just because you can move your controller like a sword doesn’t mean it’s more real; because let’s face it, the Wii’s graphics aren’t exactly life-like.

With the PS3, what you see is more like what you get in real life, or at least much more real than the Wii. Sure you can play boxing as a sport, but you’re still boxing a cartoon. I think the reality ends with the graphics capability.

It all depends on how real it “feels”. I think that making the arm motions of hacking a person to death would definitely increase the feeling that you’re actually killing someone. I don’t think the Wii remote is bad; it’s what it’s being used for that I disagree with.
