Wii Fit Girl Makes an Appearance on MTV’s TRL

Wow, does this ever take me back. I don’t think I’ve even glanced at a TV that was playing TRL for at least six or seven years. Anyway, surely you’ve seen or heard about the “Wii Fit Girl,” who gained some notoriety on the internet when her boyfriend filmed her while she played the Wii Fit’s hula hoop game in her underwear. Well, it looks like that video also garnered the couple, Lauren Bernat and Giovanny Gutierrez, a trip to New York to appear on MTV’s TRL. They basically showed up to briefly discuss the video and to have Bernat play the hula hoop game again, but fully clothed this time. In a lot of ways, their appearance on the show is a lot like their video on the internet: she still looks hot, and he still looks like a complete tool.

At around -0.20 in the video, why is the VJ making that hand motion when she describes how many hits the video has? Is there a need for it? All it does it piss me the hell of that for some reason, she decided to add a little “flava” into the reading of how many hits the video got.
Ahh… I’m an ass who notices small crap like that, but seriously, is there a need for it?
