People could care less what you think. A lot of people are very excited about this product, myself included. You could have spent more time explaining WHY you thought it such a disappointment instead of criticizing the obvious (that it’s a gimic, OK), and presenting your OPINION as a matter of FACT.

I’m very happy that this is coming out, but gee….they have to stop pushing the dates back. I know its slated for May…but really…i waited all year for this ever since they were making the game! I can’t wait to try it and actually get into it. What a great way to make getting fit much more fun. Kinda like recess or gym class in school. (miss that since i graduated from school!!!) Plus, with schools cutting back on recess/gym activities, we need all the help we can get for our kids’ sakes! They are the future…and of course…we need it for ourselves for our kids sakes too! We need to keep up with the younger folks! LOL

Just off the jet from Japan… Loved the wii fit game… its on display for sampling at some stores… bought mine for regular price there at Y8,000JPY, about $77US. Had to answer some strange questions at customs, but other than that, well worth it! I’ll get the US version as well, when its finally released here!

I have a theory of why the delayed release dates for the US… There is a weight limit set for the board… its in kgs… I’ll let you guys wait to find out what the amt is! The limit might have to be increased for the “broad-bodied” american market, forcing production to re-calculate the PVC strength limits!

sad articles like this is why I never bother with this site unless google links it, and even then it’s only if I don’t read the url before I come.

It’s pretty pathetic how little imagination you’d have to have to see this would be great for a lot of people.

bleurgh… anyway, not a wii fanboy but seriously, some of the hostility towards aspects of it borders on ridiculous.

The advertising is really REALLY lame though. Always smarmy grinning idiots who look like they’re out of a christian family advertisement or something. As is the case for most wii software unfortunately. Compare with Ps3 and Xbox software,most wii adverts make me want to run and hide behind the couch.

Come on, every country has a weight problem…why always pick on America. The people of America are no differant from any other really…We laugh,play, we hurt, we cry. We lose loved ones. We do not like our politicans any more than the rest of the country likes thiers, but we are at thier mercy sadly. They lie to get votes and are so good that alot of people are desperate to believe them.. So in the mean time we play the wii games. It is the best we think and are looking forward to the wii fit. When will it be available to us overweight Americans? I could sure use it..

I absolutely love this idea. I’ve been waiting for it to come out in America since it was announced. My friends and I are gamers, and… most of them are normal weight, while I am way underweight (90lbs. -cough-). We all think it is a spectacular idea, and will bring a depth to the gaming experience. Who cares about graphics when you could be having fun using skills, not button mashing? That’s what we’re interested in. We’re teens, and we love the idea. Our parents think it’s interesting, but probably won’t play it much. Still, this is the best gaming idea ever. I think it’s appealing to a large population of gamers, however, I also think that many that can’t accept the change in the gaming universe.

Just wanted to let you know…I am not just a little but overweight…..I am a hell of a lot over weight…..I bought the wii system purposely for the wii fit game….and the fact that you have to be active to play the games….i have only bought the active games for it….not the ones that take the classic controls….we have several other game systems in this house….and the wii is the only one i play…and the only one i really want my children to play…because you have to be active to play it…..so please stop accusing us fat slobby people of being the ones who DON’T like this game…. thanks….
