Watch Top Gear on Your PS3 Starting Next Year

Thank to the Gran Turismo TV channel, which will launch next year on the PlayStation Network, you’ll be able to watch up to 40 episodes of the show Top Gear. Gran Turismo developer Polyphony Digital signed a deal with BBC Worldwide to add the content to the GT TV lineup. Those familiar with the show know the infamous test track, which the BBC has given the okay to Polyphony to include in Gran Turismo 5.
“We’re sure that players will be as thrilled as we are when they get the chance to put their own driving skills to the test on the Top Gear Test Track in GT5, as well as enjoying classic episodes of Top Gear via GT TV,” said Kazunori Yamauchi, end boss at developer Polyphony Digital.
Gran Turismo 5 is still a ways off, though. The US doesn’t even have a release date – or any confirmation, for that matter – that GT5 Prologue is even coming here. I wouldn’t worry too much, though. Surely they wouldn’t forget about the US. Would they?

I like the idea of the test track. Any bets on there being a mode then that puts a championship board for normal-person in a reasonably priced car?
