Point is they dont buy the cd they download it.
And the other part of im in to it because in all honesty most of todays music is absolute crap.
And a record label is what keeps the bands so that they can get somewhere .. They only have to make 2/3 albums then they can leave the label and become independnt as tekno said.

No, you are right, the bands are what make the music industry, but how many record execs end up screwing over the bands on an hourly basis? 90% of them. When these games entice a 13yo to go out and buy an Alic Cooper or a Iggy Pop Cd, it makes the artist money. How much of that goes to the record companies though? How many bands have starved to death during the 1st three years or so of their career because they were getting the shaft by the record companies? Many.

its bands that keep the music industry not games like rock band.
They should ask for more money .. These people are wanting more money because of the profit the games companies get .. which is fair enough imo.
