Sadly, whenever I think of Ozzy Osbourne these days, I usually remember that he had that reality show that kicked off the trend of every other celebrity getting their own reality show. Hopefully that isn’t the angle Activision is going for with their inclusion of Osbourne’s likeness in the upcoming Guitar Hero: World Tour. He discussed his experience putting himself in the game in a recent interview with USA Today. The game will also contain two of his songs: “Crazy Train” and “Mr. Crowley.” The interview though is just hilarious on its own, since it’s basically an old man talking about how flabbergasted he is by technology these days, as his thoughts kind of flow into each other. Choice example:

Q: What do you think of these video games as a way for music lovers to interact with music?

A: The music thing is OK, but there are so many other video games. Like I went “wow” at the one with carjacking and all of that. Some desensitize kids, you know. It’s a changing time. Of course, I used to see horror films when I was a kid and to lie that you were over 16 to get in.

My son Jack, he won’t return your call. You have to text him. I have a cellphone, but I can’t say I’m in love with the thing. You have to be pretty bright to keep up with the changes, and just when you learn something, it’s time to learn something else.

Oh, Ozzy. I hope you never change.
