Virginia Tech Review Panelist Suggests Banning Video Games Like Heroin

Are video games as bad as heroin? Well, yes, but not in the way that it’s talked about in the Virgina Tech Review Panel.
What they are talking about is banning video games like heroin is banned for people’s apparent safety. And all because the panelist couldn’t get his facts straight.
It comes down to a bunch of bullshit.
What’s bad is that Don Phau, one of the panelists, thought that the Virginia Tech mass murderer Cho Seung-Hui played video games. The truth was, on the other hand, completely the opposite. He had no video games.
What’s worse is that Phau actually took Jack f*cking Thompson seriously when he was testifying in front of the panel. He recounted Thompson’s claim that Cho Seung-Hui was motivated to commit the killings by playing Counter-strike, which obviously isn’t true considering Seung-Hui didn’t even have video games.
If you read GamePolitics.com blog even further, there are misquoted statistics, dates for first-person shooters, and information about the video game industry in general. Basically it doesn’t look like anything good came out of it.
The best thing for Don Phau to do instead of testifying in front of the VT Review Panel would have been to stick his head over a toilet, because the only thing coming out of his mouth was a bunch of crap.
I guess we live in a society where personal responsibility no longer exists. They always have to blame something. Perhaps no one or thing is to blame other than that bastard Cho.
Correction: There is no perhaps. The blame is solely on him and him alone.
Well officer, I’m not paying this speeding ticket because Chevrolet made the Corvette too powerful. You can forward the fine to them, as it’s obviously their fault.
