Video Game’s Worst Trends

Video games are always changing. We’ve come a long way from Pong and Pac-Man to Halo 3 (with pitstops at the ET: The Extraterrestrial video game). Some things however, remain unchanged over long periods of time…too long perhaps. Blake Snow and Vicious Sid of Gamepro.com have just written a list of the 11 Worst Trends in Video Games. It includes a number of different game tropes, including some that I’ve never even thought about like “bloom effects” and “using every button on the controller.”
