They aren’t turning video games into an official Olympic sport just yet, but they will become an official welcome event at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. The Global Gaming League (GGL) has already sealed the deal that will make video games a part of the festivities. Currently, there is a tournament planned along with other various events of competitive gaming and contests.
