		<description>I agree with Tim. Gaming will have a negative effect if that&#039;s all that they do. My daughter watched a lot of tv but mostly Dora, Blues Clues and what not. She&#039;s 8 and has also seen all 3 Resident Evil movies. She is over Dora now but I have a balance of kid stuff and a little more grown up.

Here&#039;s a thought though. If you wan&#039;t your kids to be good readers you have to read to them or with them.</description>

		<description>Sorry, but I never connected Nigeria with having the best scientists in the world.  Aren&#039;t they the country that still has mines littered around their country?  I would think playing a game of frogger or two would help the toddlers prepare for their life of dodging active landmines.</description>

His first console game was mario kart racing for the N64 and he&#039;s moved on from there. He&#039;s now 5 years old and can read at a 4th grade level. After his first day at kindergarten the teacher was prepared to move him to 1st grade. Obviously I&#039;m not a believer of games having any negative effect on learning.</description>
