Here is the bottom line. First of all, yes the PC most likely “looks” a little sharper/better whatever. The nature and expandibility or adjustability of the computer simply make these comparions kind of redundant. I own a dual-core 2.8 GHZ PC with a DX10 capable card. I love this computer and I play BF2 and LOTR online all the time, but I still ENJOY my XBOX360. Halo 3 is a spectacular game- it has sold 8 million copies in a year guys. Whether or not it is parents buying the game for kids dosent really even matter. COD4 is also an awesome game both on PC and XBOX (and PS3). I have both (XBOX/PC) versions and it is actually easier/quicker to get on-line and play in a XBOX live game, but the PC works fine as well. Stop being fan-boys and just be a gamer. A game like COD4 dosent come around all the time – enjoy it.

to me i don’t really care which one looks the best. It is a great game and that is all that matters. I don’t have a gaming pc, but I know that no matter what they will always be better then any console. Right now I don’t think that their is that big of a difference between any 360 and ps3 game. Their are small things like the lighting and smoke but nothing that makes either one a clear cut winner. The only reason I have a 360 instead of a ps3 is because I like playing online and that is what most of my friends have. If they all had ps3 I would have got that instead. Honestly to me its more about how the games play themselves not which one has slightly better graphics.

Hey, CoD4 is a great game but all games are made ON THE COMPUTER, computers will always be better because computers can change, while and ps3 and xbox360 are set that way, plus in my CoD4 it asked me if i have duel graphics cards and i can change my options and performace can a xbox or ps3 do that?

and for those saying that the xbox version is brighter and sharper. that would be down to there being less smoke. but if you think about it this is supposed to be a gritty smoke filled warzone. and the colours looking brighter has nothing to do with how powerfull a system is it is how the programmers wanted it to look.

They are both good consoles. but if you look at the front right window of the car fairly early on. you can see that the ps3 version has more smoke there. and smoke is one of the most taxing things for a computer to generate on screen. but they are both very good consoles the xbox would be better if they did not break down so much though.

sry xbx fnas ps3 is better in every game and this one too and ps3 has 10 times more harware capabilty than the 360 and pc combines sry ps3 rules

i dont have any of these systems but iv played them all, and i have to say that Xbox live is good yes but like the guy befor me said, what sony is doing is better yes, but it needs improvements… like there is no co-op online for sony but other than that it is a great system… and for that reason i have to buy a Xbox 360 becaus i have a brother that i love to play with online because we make such good team that i cant play without him on anything, so im forced to buy the 360…. but all my love still gose to sony

I just dont have the money to bye 2 PS3’s

I think you will find that you are actually a fanboy and also a racist idiot.

On a serious note Xbox Live is pretty much universally seen throughout the gaming world as being populated mainly by abusive American kids. I know for a fact that this puts a lot of people off using it. As I’ve mentioned before I play a lot of Battlefield 2 online and the 64 player servers I play on are moderated so people like ‘IamNotaFanBoy’ last abut 2mins before being kicked and permanently banned if they keep offending. The problem I see with Live is that being dependant on fees means they are far less eager to suspend or ban people because they will lose money. Sure they ban people for modding consoles but thats because it will cost them money. The beauty of having a free service is that you can ban people for acting like arseholes with no problems or financial losses at all.

the reason that this game looks the same on both platforms is because it was developed on ps3 and ported to 360, the 360 is a better console with twice the triangle display capabilities and better shader handling

in short the game simply does not look as good as it could on the 360 because it was developed on an inferior machine and ported. when you port 360 games to ps3 you have to cut them down which is why they always look worse
