Upcoming BioWare MMO to be Based on Knights of the Old Republic

Apparently a source close to BioWare has confirmed that their upcoming MMO will be based on the Knights of the Old Republic universe. Primo Tech, who broke this news, are being very insistent that this is not just a rumor, so — because I want it so much to be true — I’m going to believe them. The game is currently being developed at BioWare’s Austin Studio and is being helmed by creative director, James Ohlen, who worked on the first KOTOR as well as Neverwinter Nights and Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2. The only bad news: we probably won’t be seeing this game until 2009. Still, this pretty much confirms the hopes and dreams of all the KOTOR fans out there.

Ugh, I hate MMOs. I hope this isn’t the only KOTOR inspired game coming out.
How legit is this and who is the source? Ive heard hundreds of rumors about it being a kotor based….
Do your own research. Start with the link at the end of the article.
no thanks, ill pass on doing my own research and just assume its another nonbacked rumor like the last 1,000
Hmm, I’m very hopeful this is true, but what with Bioware belonging to EA these days, and Lucasarts holding the license and effectively being a rival promoter/distributer, I cant see this happening.
Since BioWare sold out to Microsoft, I doubt this will be true since Lucas doesn’t want to give the Star Wars name to Microsoft.
