Unreal Tournament 3 on PS3 Goes Gold

Despite being delayed until next year, Epic Games picked up the slack, kicked things up a notch and made good on Mark Rein’s claim that Epic would get the game out before year’s end.
Maybe it wasn’t so much a claim as a promise of dedication, and Epic has certainly made good. The game will first hit stores on December 10, with “limited quantities” shipping the next day. This no doubt is due to the game’s bumpy development cycle, but it’s great to see that PS3 owners will be able to get their hands on UT3 before Christmas. Make sure and rush out (and dare I say pre-order) on the release date if you’re fixated on getting it, otherwise you might end up having to wait until ’08.
Now let’s hope they get crackin’ on that 360 version.
I am so looking forward to seeing this game in high def glory on my friends PS3 and wall projector. Hope the gameplay is on par with the purty graphics. Looks like a winner for the Sony boys.
The PC version was disappointing (to the point that I’d rather play UT2k4), so I hope they learn from that and at least make the PS3/360 versions better.
What I mean is: Less Multiplayer modes (no Assault, Invasion, Domination, and the mode with the skull (can’t remember the name atm)), an almost pathetically small array of maps for each mode, and the new Warfare mode is very tedious (and at times just plain lame imo).
It did have good graphics though, but that’s not everything. I mean, if it didn’t come so bare-bones as far as Multiplayer was concerned, I would of loved it.

I got said “mode with the skull” confused with a similar mode from Halo. I was referring to the Bombing Run mode.
I do, however, stick to everything else I said.
Why would we want them to get cracking with the 360 version lol, ill be gettin it on my PS3 sonner lol
