Universal In Favor Of HD DVD vs. Blu-ray War Continuing

Universal president Craig Kornblau stated that his studio is in favor of the format war continuing, despite the fact that there are negative effects on consumer adoption. This is a strange statement considering the format war has left most of us on the sidelines waiting to find out which format will be the best to purchase. Many insiders believe that if Universal were to lean towards Blue-ray, that HD DVD would pretty much cease to exist.   Kornblaua also shared the belief that once the players reach about $200, consumers will start deciding which format will win. It sounds to me like they plan to milk this war for as much as they can regardless of the negative impact this will have on consumers.

Sony quality is crap. UMD is a slug, memory duo is a pain & high priced, minidisc was a mistake. Why would I trust whatever Sony is involved in? Sony PS2 blows Sony batteries blow & BlowRay just blew.
Pat Defat Cat is a funny person…
Pat Defat Cat owns a 360……
The real advantage of Blue-ray is the storage capacity of the discs. I agree that UMD isn’t going very far, but I can respect the fact that they are always trying to innovate. The minidisc was not great when it came to consumers, but it’s still a very popular format in pro audio.
sounds like patdefat is crying because he bought a failing format(hddvd)
Sounds like THELORD is crying because he owns the failing PS3.
Sounds like “notthelord” is crying because he’s a whining baby.
@ notthelord, why thank you for that, that was the most fanboyish comment i’ve read all day. It fits all the standard fanboy criteria: not related to article, ignorant, indicitive of some kind of mental disorder and contains no facts at all. Sure does bring into perspective for anyone reading your post that fanboyism brings your IQ down to the level of a mere animal, good luck with your life, i’m sure a bias like that will get you far *rolls eyes*
Its always a refreshing reminder from you tools: if you hate other systems but the one you own, you wind up like notthelord.
DON’T BE A FANBOY PEOPLE, BE A FAN!
