UMD Drive Bug Fixed by New PSP Firmware

A new PSP firmware update is now available via the Network Update option on your PSP. Version 3.73 doesn’t actually list any of the changes it makes before you install it, but PSP Fanboy got word from SCEA about what it does.
“With this update, operation of the UMD™ (Universal Media Disc) drive has been improved to address cases in which the UMD drive occasionally suspends and fails to reload data. Updating the system software to version 3.73 will resolve this issue,” said SCEA’s Al De Leon.
It’s a minor update, so you shouldn’t have really been expecting much. At least anyone who has suffered from this problem can avoid having it happen again, and for those of us who are lucky enough to have avoided it thus far, we can keep it that way.

With better features like a chat room, flash player9, real player, full screen game play for psp 2000 series, allow you to convert and play play station2 games on your psp, new web browser, more music visuals, allows umd drive to make games on umd disks to have play station3 graphics, have play station store on psp, allow psp to download play station3 games that can be played on psp. allow psp users to e-mail their freinds from the psp. Az a matter of fact make this 4.0 update make the psp like a pocket pc!

Hi psp lovers i have been hearing these rumors that Divx is coming to psp. Id like to inform to everybody that is true. Also because of the slim’s ram (64) flash player will be possible on the sony playstation portable. Also we are thinkingof making the skype free of charge but not sure yet. We (Sony) are working hard for the many psp lovers out there to love this update.You can also go on Divx.com to download any music/videos you want (unlimited downloads). Also you will be able to download games,also more features to the video section and last but not least a better internet radio we are thinking of putting more on this in the future but not sure. but its most likely flash player 7,8,or 9 will be on the psp!!!

its true we are putting in theofficial firmware update 4.0 with flash player 8 but not 9 yet. We have just been able to put flash player on the psp because it has enough RAM for it. But the Original psp is going to get flash 8 also but it cant handle flash 9 just yet will are still trying! Also visit are sites for more updates.

this link is so fake and there is no way to convert any higher flash player on the psps current firmware. i know because i work at sony i helped design firmware 3.80 the psp will get flash 8 though with update 4.00 i will say that psp owners will be very happy to watch youtube on the psp using the memory stick as a hard drive. just keep waiting its coming out soon oh and the guy named sony inc is jerry galardo a producer here at sony.
