UK Gaming Site Sells Out of Wii Fit Pre-Order Allotment Within One Day

If this is a sign of things to come, then North Americans wanting to purchase the Wii Fit may want to pre-order it.
Play.com, a popular online store over in the UK sold out if its entire stock of Wii Fit in just one day. All sales were pre-orders as the hotly anticipated Nintendo creation is not scheduled to be released in the UK until April 25th. The ensuing pre-order demand overwhelmed the online retailer, and Gian Luzo, the head of games at the online store has thsi to say regarding the surge:
“People continually look for new and fun ways to stay in shape and it’s fantastic to see exergames in big demand. Wii Fit is going to be huge – let’s hope that we can keep up with demand. We are expecting more stock before launch.”
So UK gamers who did not get in on the pre-order feeding frenzy can take heart that they will get another chance very soon . If the sales of the Wii Fit in Japan (1 million sold in a month) are any indication of its expected popularity, some of you may miss out if you don’t take advantage of this the next time pre-order becomes available.

Anyway, I hope it does well here but I’m skeptical. The US is the fattest country for a reason, yet all you men are chasing after sizes 2-6. Sizes 14 and up are easier to catch especially since we most likely run slow.
I might get this but won’t tell anyone I got it, like that Thighmaster I had back in the day or the Ab Roller.
Oh noes! I have to pre order and fast! I have to agree with Lachandra .I am happy to say I am a size 8/10 and am a model. Men can be any size and we still love them. They need to see more skin deep. Most of those models and actresses are all airbrushed anyway, it is all a fantasy. But yea that guy is the perfect candiate for wii fit in that pic! I also wonder if it would be better than Dance Dance Revolution I have trimmed alot on that and I have had that game since 1998.
I had a AbRoller and a ThighMaster too LaChandra, so don’t feel bad!
I have to agree with both of you though…it is pretty sad state the human race is in when everyone (men actually) wants anorexic instead of va va va voom! They miss out on a lot – and if I was a guy, personally, I would prefer not to be able to see hip bones or every vertebra in a woman’s back let alone be able to play her rib cage like an instrument.
