French video games maker Ubisoft has squashed speculation that it will be bidding on computer games developer SCi Entertainment Group, parent corporation of Eidos.
“Ubisoft has no intention of making an offer for SCI-Eidos,” a group spokesman told Reuters.
The response was to media claims that Ubisoft has been stalking SCi.
SCi has had several buy out offers although it hasn’t revealed which companies have submitted offers.
SCi owns the Eidos publishing label, which owns the IP for the Lara Croft :Tomb Raider games.
