Usually system specs requirements are based on Pentium 4 values. This means that a P4 3.2ghz CPU and the AMD 3500+ are on the same level even if though the clock speed of a 3500+ is 2.2ghz.

So a Intel Core 2 duo running at 2.0ghz can still out perform a P4 3.2 because of the architecture. Not only does it have multiple cores, but there is far more cache.

The AMD 6000+ is above both recommendations above, as it your geforce8800. It may not play as well as a Intel Core 2 E8500 with DDR 3 memory and a £400 vid card but it is still far above the basic and recommended specs that are stated above. Don’t spend money that you may not have because of mindless peer pressure.

My graphics card is 2 years old now so I wasnt expecting it to meet the recommended specs.

I am freak’n tired of these devs saying that these games will run a P4 with a gig of ram and 6600.

my friend has that set up and he can barely run TF2 ( granted he could probably tweak it a bit .. but still )

those are the minimum requirements to run the game… not play it.. it is more then likly that at those settings the game is highly un-playable.

They arent to differnt from each other.. and the sad part is.. Iron man for PC is a psp port.. the psp.. while at a much lower resolution then most people run their pc monitor at.. runs at stock at 266mhz.

read up before buying a game.. just cuz the system specs say you can run it.. doesnt mean you can play it
