6-ABC in Philadelphia recently ran a newscast about the addictive nature of MMO’s. In the report, they talked to two families: one who had to begin limiting their son’s WoW playtime, and the other who believes they lost their son entirely due to Everquest. The latter even started a website for people to discuss their online gaming addictions. It’s an interesting report, though it seems to slant somewhat towards the idea that the game companies are responsible for this.

Game Companies, it couldn’t possibly be bad parenting……..
Its not the game companies fault , its the parents fault I played mmos I can quit playing that mmo. I did it many times. I dont get addicted to mmos. Cant blame the game companies for something the parents didnt do while there kids was growning up.
That case might have well blame the teachers because your kid fail high school, or blame the car maker because your kid ran into a tree.
