As a TSA employee, I find your response totally nonbelieveable. TSA does not take Chapstick. Restrictions are on liquids, gels, cremes, pastes, lotions, and similar substances; Chapstick is non of these. If by chance your Chapstick was taken once, why would you continue to bring it to the airport time after time?
Also your claim about ashes being dumped out is an outright lie. NEVER are human remains opened. There are many ways to screen ashes, all which do not include opening an urn. Get your facts straight. Also, why even take your game system in carry on luggage? You obviously won't be playing during your flight. Check your bag and save the hassle...maybe mommy and daddy can help you do it.

Not surprising. TSA has taken my chapstick several times. When my grandfather died, they made my dad pour out the ashes from the urn into a paper cup so they could scan it. I think they go overboard with some procedures and underboard with the important ones.
