Try NHL 08 on Xbox 360 Now; PS3 Owners Wait

Head over to the Xbox Live Marketplace now if you’re looking to try out EA’s latest hockey title, NHL 08, which is slated for release on September 11. There’s a demo that allows you to play a shortened game as either the Anaheim Ducks or Ottawa Senators. It’s nice to see demos come out well before the release of a game – it shows that the developer and publisher are confident in their product – as opposed to, say, when a demo comes out months after the game’s release. PlayStation 3 owners will have to wait a bit, but a demo is headed to the PlayStation Store soon.

There is no need for PS3 owners to have to wait for the NHL 2008 demo to be released. If XBOX 360 has it so should PS3. EA Sports doesn’t seem to care if PS3 owners buy this game I guess….
I imagine it’s coming this Thursday. Sony seems to be rather stringent about releasing demos and content of that sort only on Thursdays.
PS3 sucks

When will this game be released on the Xbox 360 system? It was supposed to be released on SEP 11.
