Warhound Interactive Outdoors Environments Video

Techland has released the first in a series of tech trailers for their upcoming PC and Xbox 360 title, Warhound. This particular videos focuses on how the player can influence the interactive outdoor environments. This basically translates into leaves reacting realistically to bullet fire and trees being toppled by explosions. Warhound promises to allow the player more freedom than a traditional FPS, by providing opportunities to improve skills and choose how and which missions to tackle. Hopefully future videos will reveal a bit more about these unique gameplay elements.

    Isnt Crysis already doing this ?

    Damn, that was short. If I had blinked during that video I would have missed it.

    @Rollett

    Crysis is far more advanced than this. Warhound looks to be FarCry with a (scripted?) destructable environment.

    All I have ever seen are tech demonstrations for this game. I sometimes wonder if the game will even have a plot?

    This game is no match for Crysis :roll:
