Traxxpad Shows No Talent Needed to Make Music

So Eidos just let loose the trailer for their non-game Traxxpad. Traxxpad basically turns your PSP into a music studio, letting you create and mix tracks that you can then export. While I find the idea interesting, I have to question the delivery. The guy in the trailer was obviously sent by the same folks that supplied the “talent” for AllIWantForXmasIsAPSP, and telling us that you can simply mash buttons and the program will make the music “like on MTV” is not the way to sell me a product. That’s like saying you can pound on a production terminal with a severed monkey paw and make hits. Oh wait, the new Fergie album is doing well isn’t it. Never mind.

So these evil people are trying to teach todays youth that “button-mashing” is how to make music? Do your kids a favor and buy them a real instrument.
I just can’t stand the guy’s tone.
go under the tip of flashing iceberg:

It does seem to have a legitimate following on MySpace…

and I read that it has other modes, to layer your beats, so if you DO have talent you can compose a well orchestrated song.
fellas… dont trip off the dude in the video. i’m sure he’s just one of the sales and marketing guys from the publisher. i wouldnt take him as one to represent the product. this !*@% is goin to be the jumpoff of ‘07. Dont sleep!!!
