Hasbro recently unveiled their next line of Transformers action figures, called “Real Gears.” The toys are all modeled after popular gadgets, and one of the robots transforms into a handheld gaming device. It doesn’t look like any specific console though — more like the love child of a Sega Game Gear and a PSP. Others in the set are modeled after cell phones, digital cameras, camcorders, and MP3 players. None of them are previously known Transformers or appear in the upcoming movie, although there will apparently be a Transformer that turns into an iPod (thanks to Michael Bay’s amazing ability to incorporate blatant corporate sponsoring into all his works).
