If you like to compete in either Half-Life 2 or Counter-Strike tournaments, you’re probably going to be dealing with Tournament.com.
Tournament.com
announced in a Press Release to FileFront an agreement making the site the only officially licensed arena to host Half-Life 2: Deathmatch and Counter-Strike: Source game matches with cash for the winners.
This may mean that previous tournament holders, such as Verizon’s FiOS Grand Tournament, will not be able to open their doors for gamers to compete. On the other hand, this could mean bigger prizes for the winners.
Valve-based First-Person shooters unite.
