2 ea Tour De Force Game Enters Release Cycle

Cyanide studios announced this week that they are bringing Pro Cycling Manager/Tour De France 2007 to PCs and Sony’s PSP portable later this year. Players will direct one of 60 pro cycling teams on the quest for the win at the sport’s premiere racing event. The primary gameplay seems to revolve around team management like developing racing tactics and purchasing and managing gear but the title does have a simulation element. Your team will be represented in 3D with lifelike graphics where you can gauge the speed, effort and fatigue of the racers and on a day-by-day basis realign their strategies and attacks.

While managing a team of cyclists may not seem interesting the game is shedding light on a sport many of us don’t know much about aside from the fact that Lance Armstrong had cancer, won the Tour multiple times and used to date Sheryl Crow. The previous year’s game is available for download if you’re interested in just what this game will improve upon.
