I dont think fans would be pissed if it came out for 360. Im a HUGE metal gear fan and I would only get it for 360 cause I can ony afford one system(someday ) And all this talk of it being on may disks or whatever must be by fat people cause I remember many of the greatest games(for me anyways) ever coming on multiple didks. Meatal gear solid, Resident evil 2, and final fantasy 7.

i think the plan would be to release on ps3 first. maybe make a boost in ps3 sales at the same time. then when it goes stale release on the 360, happy days for all.

ok as a mgs fan and a 360 owner all i can say is if it does come out on the 360 i will be happy, if not its a reason for me to get a ps3 lol. my problem solved

It will eventually come out on the 360 coz it iz a great game and kojima wantas to make money and dont think im lyin coz im one of da greatest metal gear fans u can fing coz i used to have a ps2 and finished all the games several times and i think its the gratest game of all time.

Not necessarily. If they believed that profit could not be obtained, or at least, profit that was actually useful (if that makes sense) then I don’t think they would take the multi-platform gamble. They may simply be ‘happy’ with the profit they get from the one console. We should also look at past evidence where they have gone to other platforms, which seemed to try and capitalize off the market at the time.

I still think we’ll really just have to wait and see. Any speculation on our behalf really will achieve nought when the situation is as it stands.

I think if Konami have designed a game to utilize more space, then yeah, they’ll have to use more discs and Microsoft should say “yup, okay, not fantastic in every case”, but considering the amount of games on both console that only require 1 disc, I wouldn’t say it was a total problem.

I also think they’ll port if they deem it financially worthy, ie. production costs of porting are less than potential profits.

It’s about the money, I believe. Not if fans want it more than other fans.

So you think Konami are going to port the game for a console with an install base of only 250,000? And you think that after all Microsoft have said about not needing the extra capacity of a HD drive for games they will concede Sony were right?

One thing is for sure, it’s going to come out with PS3 only. Maybe after a year or so it MIGHT go to 360 but that’s assuming and, well, we all know what happens when we assume.

The reason why they are not porting it to 360 is cause Sony and MGS fans will go berserk on Kojima and things will end ugly.

I don’t really care either way on this one, but what I do know is that the possibility of a timed-release isn’t impossible, nor is it staying an exclusive is impossible either. The fact remains, it’ll be on the PS3 when it comes out in the Blu-Ray disc on a shelf in the games shop and it’ll be out on the 360 in a (more?) HD-DVD disc on a shelf in the games shop.

Now, if you don’t mind me…I’m going to go play Zelda on my NINTENDO console :p

Reasons to think it won’t be released on the 360:

1) Sony, Konami and even Peter Moore have said it’s a PS3 exclusive.
2) Kojima said that while he could develop a game for the 360, because of the lack of HD drive his vision of MGS4 would not work on it.
3) There is absolutely no evidence at all that there has been any development on a 360 version.
4) Nobody at Microsoft has mentioned it coming. Ever.

Reasons to think it will:

1) A lot of people who have nothing to do with any of the company’s involved say it will.
