I play 360 with my girlfriend, and when she talks on the mic i get about all of these responses except for number 8 (hahah) people who say that obviously dont get out much, I mean its cool they play games, but it will end if it turns into a harassment game…

I for one have seen girls especially on halo defeat me, you know it sucks, but i always say, save all your cussing for the real punk asses, its sort of like defending a girl at a bar, you tell them how it is, and then the problem is usually resolved. If not you get the pleasure of bashing a 12 yr old, since thats the age group that just loves to harass girls and guys. Mainly because they can do whatever they want without consiquences, like if I could get there account de actived for like a week for having negative 5 reps, they would be kind all the time … hahaha.

Although… I don’t play any online games except for Soldat, and I do not use Vent to communicate with my microphone (It doesn’t have mic support). It’s just not my style. Even if I did, I would certainly not use any of these statements because… well, just look at it.

Overall, I feel girls deserve to be treated differently, (read: with more respect) but that list is simply insulting. Society has typically labeled female gamers as a rarity, and while it may be true, these statements are just idiotic and have no justification whatsoever due to their idiocy.

No matter the gender of who’s playing the game, they deserve the same treatment as any male player. Actually, I’d rather have girls play video games more because that would break the stereotype that has been pushed on you for the longest time.
