Too Human Demo Hits Record Setting One Million Downloads

Last Friday, Microsoft announced that the action-RPG Too Human demo was downloaded over 900,000 times, which is a record number for any action demo released on Xbox LIVE.
If that was not enough good news, this morning during the Too Human event in London, Denis Dyack, president and co-founder of Silicon Knights, confirmed to Videogaming247 that the demo has surpassed the previous number by 100,000 downloads and is now at a record setting figure of one million.
Unfortunately, any other information coming out of the Too Human event has been embargoed by Silicon Knights and Microsoft until August 19, which just so happens to be the day that the game will be released in North America. Europe should expect to see the Xbox 360 exclusive sitting on retail shelves come August 29, but in the meantime, check back with us for more information once the embargo is lifted.
With such high numbers for a demo being reported, I am curious as to how many of our readers downloaded this small taste of Too Human. Feel free to post your thoughts on the demo in the comments section below, because we love hearing from you.

It’s an ok game. Not really all that great and the controls take some getting use too. I was excited about this game but after the demo I don’t think I am going to be getting it. I might after it goes to the discount ben.
I agree with Nathan. I was really looking forward to this game, more than any other being released over the next few months, but after playing the Demo, I don’t think I’ll be picking it up for 60 bucks. I thought that the crafting system and the skill trees were all great, and the graphics, while not the best in the world, were good enough for me. Combat was a blast, but I didn’t really feel that the demo offered up enough of it. Overall, I would have to say that it was the control scheme that killed this game for me. I might pick it up when it hits 30 bucks or so, until them, I’ll just spray feces on people in Saint’s Row 2.
I agree with the above posters. I thought the story and graphics were top notch but the play control left a lot to be desired. I will probably still get the game when it is released though.
Go Marlins!!!!
I think it’s the best game besides Halo 3 that I’m going to own (from the looks of the demo anyway).
Pre-ordered, and waiting for the 19th…
I love Action RPG’s and i honestly do not understand whats so bad about the controls… defenty going to pick it up.
@Rollett
In the demo you control your sword with the right analog stick. Only instead of having directional control over where you actually swing your sword…..the controls seem to perform the exact opposite of what you want them to do….or at least think they should do. It’s hard to explain but the control scheme reminds me of when I tried to play Onimusha for the PS2 with a PS1 controller with no analog sticks……crazy.
Go Marlins!!!!
its a demo… dont complain about how much of the game you arent getting FROM A DEMO
gameplay was awfu i must agree sword attacks with the right stick
u can lunge every where
the auto aim with the gun was awefull waste of RT and Lt
such a bad game i deleted it like after 5 mintute of gameplay
@phalxor
y cant we complain about the demo its shit
it should b loaded with good stuff because we get first impressions about the game from a demo and the first impression is the most important thing
if the demo is shit, the game will likely b shit and we r complaining about that
