Tony Hawk Gets ill

Activision have revealed the “Epic” soundtrack for Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground. According to the press release, over 50 tracks will be featured in the well established skating franchise. A few notable tracks appearing are:
Nirvana – “Breedâ€
Smashing Pumpkins – “Tarantulaâ€
The Rolling Stones – “Sympathy for the Devilâ€
Beastie Boys – “Electric Wormâ€
Foo Fighters – “The Pretenderâ€
Also announced as guest worthiness is Beastie Boys’ very own MCA. The man himself (or likeness) will appear as a secret unlockable character.
Developed by Neversoft, Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground for the Xbox 360 & Playstation 3 are currently scheduled to be in stores on October 9th. Nintendo Wii and Playstation 2 versions of the game are currently being developed by Page 44 studios (no release date). A Nintendo DS version is also being developed by Vicarious Visions (no release date).

(Nasdaq: ATVI) is bringing the sounds of skate culture to life like never before in Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground — the deepest, most customizable skateboarding game ever. Additionally, MCA of the Beastie Boys makes an appearance in the game as a secret unlockable character.

Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground is scheduled to be available this fall and is in development by Neversoft Entertainment for the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and is rated “T†(Teen) by the ESRB.
