Tom Morello Appearing in Guitar Hero III

It looks like Slash isn’t the only living guitar legend that’s going to take on the role of a boss in Guitar Hero III. Now famed Audioslave and Rage Against the Machine guitarist, Tom Morello, will also be appearing in the game. He’s pretty happy about it too:
“Whenever I play Guitar Hero my opponent always kicks my ass on my own riffs. It’s embarrassing. Now that I’m actually IN the game I hope the digital me will win once in awhile!”
Little known fact: the developers were going to include an option to have digital Slash and digital Tom Morello go head to head in the game, but every trial run resulted in the game disc catching fire because none of the consoles could withstand that much awesome. NASA is expected to continue the experiment in their labs.

that’s great news. I’m not sure if he’d go down in my book as one of the greatest, but still a great musician worthy of being in a game.
