TimeShift: The Movie?

As Neo would say: Whoa!
A new live action trailer for TimeShift has shown up on our doorstep and is causing quite a stir. First, Break.com tells us it is a trailer for a TimeShift movie. So, of course, I head on over to imdb.com to confirm any such claim. Nope. Then I proceed to the TimeShift forums. Nope. Ok, apparently this is either “breaking” news or Break knows something we don’t yet. So for now, I’m passing this off as a fancy schmancy game trailer, albeit a very good one. I can at least confirm the trailer is official.
The trailer itself is, of course, live action mixed with CGI and fancy effects. The trailer begins by liking a scene out of the movie 11:14. That resemblance ends shortly when the scene takes an almost supernatural turn. Out of nowhere, an Aiden Krone metal-suit likeness appears to spoil the fun. Our “party pooper” the proceeds to kick all sorts of ass in a “take no prisoners” vigilante justice approach that Judge Dredd would be proud of. The trailer ends with what I would assume to be happy ending. No collateral damage? No problemo. I’m sure once the anti-game violence activists get a hold of this gem they will spin this trailer into “a display of raw carnage sure to inspire violence within our youth”. Bleh, enjoy it for what it is… a pretty damn good video game trailer. I think…
