Three New Titles for Kingdom Hearts

Looking for a next-gen sequel for the popular Disney-Final Fantasy lovechild Kingdom Hearts? Well sorry to disappoint, though there is action on the Kingdom Hearts front as Square Enix, Co., Ltd. announced three new titles in the award-winning KINGDOM HEARTS series at the Tokyo Game Show 2007. Fans will now be able to take their favorite series with them with these new portable games; KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days for the Nintendo DS, KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep for the PSP, and KINGDOM HEARTS coded for mobile phones.
Aside from all being side-story or prequel based, there is no official word on a true continuation of the Kingdom Hearts story so unless you love the portable consoles prepare to be a bit disappointed. Chain of Memories, the last portable addition to the series was a fun little card game so I’m anxious to see how these games turn out.
Currently these titles are only confirmed for release in Japan. Look for an announcement for other regions to follow. Read on for story details on each of these new titles. We can only hope that they get better translated titles before their inevitable English release.
KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days (Nintendo DS): The untold story of another hero… Organization XIII, Number 13, Roxas
In KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days, you will explore a variety of Disney worlds in not only single-player mode, but also in multiplayer missions made possible by the unique networking features of the Nintendo DS.

Roxas and Axel were watching the sunset from their usual spot on the station’s clock tower after a long day of collecting “hearts” from the Heartless, as ordered by their organization. When their daily work ended, they often spent their evenings there. They talked about the day’s work and other things over ice cream.
“Do you know why the sun looks red as it sinks below the horizon? It’s because among the countless colors comprising light, red travels the greatest distance.”
“You’re just trying to show off, Axel!”
It was idle chatter between two boys without hearts.
This is the untold story of Organization XIII’s Roxas.
KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep (PSP): It was an awakening that would signal the beginning of the KINGDOM HEARTS saga.
KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep is the tale of a new trio of heroes, told across three scenarios utilizing the groundbreaking technology of the PSP. Exciting new features will be introduced on top of the traditional controls, game system, and visual style of its predecessors.
The Keyblade is said to hold phenomenal power. One legend says its wielder
saved the world, while another says that he wrought chaos and ruin upon it.

Long before Sora took up the Keyblade, there were other Keyblade masters. One of these masters, Xehanort, disappeared one day along with his apprentice. This event proved to be a foreshadowing of great disaster to come. Aware of the threat, another master ordered his three apprentices to seek out Xehanort and his cohort.
KINGDOM HEARTS coded (Mobile Phones (devices/carriers TBD)): A Disney universe as vast as the mobile network awaits you.
In KINGDOM HEARTS coded, you will journey through a variety of Disney worlds on an exciting adventure brought to life by advanced mobile phone technology and gorgeous graphics never before seen on the platform. This marks the first collaboration between Square Enix and the Walt Disney Internet Group.
After the events of KINGDOM HEARTS, Jiminy Cricket returned to Disney Castle to organize his journal. While he arranged his records, his eyes fell upon a page with a mysterious message.
We must return to free them from their torment.
However, no matter how hard Jiminy tried to recall the source of the text, he couldn’t remember. So the King digitized the contents of the journal and started an investigation. Within the world traced from the contents of Jiminy’s Journal, a boy awoke on Destiny Island. It was the beginning of a new quest for a virtual Sora.

Take the Disney out of Kingdom hearts and it will be more respected. I dont favour this game cuz of the disney factor, in my oppinion disney charactors shouldnt be in this, Kingdom hearts would be more mature respected game. And i know people will say the Disney is necessary, it probaly is. Its just my oppinion.
i wouldnt say disney is needed, but it does add a touch of humor to the game and a
group of more identifiable character, remember not everybody knows who Sid is.
I think it’s great the way it is. The majority of good console games are not appropriate enough for kids under 13. It’s something that isn’t that complicated nor is it gory. Mature audiences have plenty of games to choose from. I hope they leave the kid friendly games alone.
I think Kingdom Hearts is kinda fine the way it is but alot of people do say dat if it had less disney and more final fantasy it would be better…but…if it had to much final fantasy it would end up being the same as final fantasy and they would stop. I like kingdom hearts and there probly going to let up on disney and start making there own players such as Ven, Terra, Aqua(kingdom hearts Birth by sleep) cause in kingdom hearts birth by sleep the graphics dont look like theres going to be alot of disney but idk.
lol i think disney is good but the end of the second game when goofy and donald tackled sora it runied a moment between sora and kairi

i think kingdom hearts its fine even with the more amount of FF that they are putting in it. birth by sleep looks like it’ll be one of the cooler three that are coming out. but my opinion is that 358/2 days will be interesting. the Org.XIII seem like the most interesting thing to me when i played chain of memories. i also want to know if axel will be alive in the third one. out of all the organization, xibar, zexion, axel, and roxas are my favorite.
I Wanna kill some heartless and nobodies in the third one, and hopefully a new set of eneimies.
I think that kingdom hearts is fine the way it is.
But I admitt that it is kiddish but it adds humor, and I enjoy it.
It probably would be a little bit better if they took just a liitle bit of disney out.
i wish they would just continue kingdom hearts without going into seperat sequals like say that sora would have to go back in time to stop xehonort that would be alot more interesting and it would get alot more reveiws pluse you can do alot more on a system that on a psp or ds well thats just my opinoin another thing is it would be awsome if they went to some of the final fantasy worlds too thatll be something worth waiting for. well i hope everyone agrees with what i got to say
end of story! 358/2 days looks awesome and so does birth by sleep, i’m not so sure about coded but i can’t wait till all three come out!

leave kingdom hearts the way it is dont take any characters out leave it its good how it is if ppl dont like how it is dont play it but i say leave it
did you know that kingdom hearts is just final fantasy for kids thats why its full of disney characters because their familiar to children born in the 1990 which it was directed towards ok.
and i have never even heard of these games i have heard of kingdom hearts 1 and 2 and the one for the sp game boy
sid is in every final fantasy its fine with disney they made it because kids like final fantasy but good parents wont let their children play teen games and they should make 1 new one without disney just because they make good games and more comercials in america for these games

first 1 thing how do you play a game like that on a phone? and some disney is ok but come on they went a little over board when they put pooh bear in it that and i really want to get the birth by sleep one but i would rather get the game on ps2 or xbox 360 than psp cause the psp is so small and the baterie dies so fast you dont get to play that long with out a plug so some words of advice to the makers is to make more games on ps2 and 360 and big tv hooked up consels and not make psp ds and phone versions and in no time people will be buying the games as fast as they can get there car to the store and get there money on the counter
please tell me how to get the movie and the games on both ps2 and psp please and please send me the games please
