Over on the Rock Band forums, this week’s serving of Rock Band DLC has been announced, and it’s a real snoozefest. Three songs, each priced at $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) will be made available on Tuesday on the Xbox Live Marketplace, and on Thursday on the PlayStation Store.

  • “Roam” by the B-52’s
  • “We Care A Lot” by Faith No More
  • “Calling Dr. Love” by Kiss

I really have nothing to say, other than to say I’m not even mildly interested in any of these songs. I wouldn’t mind seeing more Rolling Stones or Rise Against or AFI, though.

Where is Rage Against the Machine, Suicidal Tendencies, and Dead Kennedys, all the good bands from GHII. I could care less about AFI.

Dave Matthews Band and the Beatles please????

  3. Sk8man says:

@ManofTeal, I will eat my hat if you ever see a Beatles song up for download, Sony owns the rights to all their music and seem reluctant to release it to any form of downloadable medium, ie: iTunes, Rock Band DLC, etc.

  4. Chucks says:

If your are not interested, then why talk about it?

Snoozefest? Maybe some people might like those songs. Your “news” feed is FAR too opinionated FAR too frequently. Keep your stupid opinions to yourself and stick to reporting facts.

  6. Ron Whitaker says:

Faith No More is always good, and you have to be happy to see Calling Dr. Love on there. This is one of the better weeks of 2008 for DLC.

Actually, since this is technically a news blog, we not only report the “facts” but “opinions” as well, plus this is what we are paid to do :-)

Since we are on the subject, Calling Dr. Love is one of my favorite KISS songs, next to Black Diamond. But what else would you expect from a gal who carried a KISS lunchbox and was a member of the KISS Army? So this is great news indeed for me!
