This Day in Gaming

The Kotaku perspective is kind of neat sometimes, and their “This Day in Gaming” feature has some interesting trivia.

For instance, last year on this day Microsoft announced that five hundred million games, that is a five with eight zeroes after it, by the way, of Halo 2 had been played on Xbox Live. There were 7.4 million copies sold at the time.

For all you non math people out there, that was approximately 2,242,152 games per day. God I’m such a dork.
