The strategy grognards over at The Wargamer.com have a review up covering the recent World War II Tank oriented RTS – Theatere of War. They mention that the game has high system requirements, exhibits long load times between missions and exhibits the normal attention to detail expected by fans of the genre. Overall thy give the game a fair rating citing some odd interface elements and the seeming inability of soldiers to use buildings as cover or to hide or even to create smokescreens, features common to the game’s genre.

Of interest to military history buffs particularly is the games build in encyclopedia. This digital tome contains entries on elements of the game including real-world production data ans a fully “zoomable”graphic viewer to examine the in-game models.
