I don’t even play any MMORPGs, but I still think this article on MMOCrunch is a pretty interesting read. In it, the author lists their pick for the top five most memorable events in the history of MMORPGs. A lot of them involve a bit of virtual adventure and intrigue, like the assassination of Lord British in Ultima Online and the Guiding Hand Social Club in EVE Online infiltrating a rival organization to take them down. Then of course there’s Leeroy Jenkins, whose story needs no explanation. You can read the whole article detailing the strange and magical world of MMORPGs here.
