The Simpsons – Long Live Springfield

I am a huge Simpsons dork, not in the extreme Trekkie sense like my older brother or an over zealous fan, but a dork nonetheless. I have been laughing my fool head off over these new screens, not because they are hilarious themselves, but because they remind me of the Tree House of Horror XI episode “Night of the Dolphin”. This particular adventure into the inner weirdness of Springfield produced one of my favorite lines from Mayor Quimby when they called a town meeting to discuss how to deal with the killer dolphins. “People, please. We’re all frightened and horny, but we can’t let some killer dolphins keep us from living and scoring!”

I really need to get out more……
