The Settlers: Rise of an Empire

My newly formed crush on Ubisoft has turned suddenly to full-fledged romantic love. After looking at the screens and teaser trailer for The Settlers: Rise of an Empire, I now want to get married and have weird looking little children with Ubisoft and live happily ever after in a village in Tuscany.

Like it’s “Settlers” predecessors, Rise of an Empire is a strategy game where you build medieval cities, help them to prosper, protect them from attacks, and eventually become the King or Queen of your own little empire. This time around, you can continue your building spree by going to the Arctic or Africa. The graphics look amazing, the real-time combat to the game offers a nice challenge, and the character details are top-notch. Look for it in stores in September for the PC.
