Fileplanet was doing some strange "preload" thing with the demo and screwed it up, and it got released all over the internet about half a day earlier than planned. I personally got it via torrent at 10 AM. I'm sure 2K is pissed at Fileplanet for this, hopefully they'll cut the exclusivity demo bullshit FP's been pushing for. The demo was released "officially" at 7:00PM EST. Your comment was posted at 11:36PM EST. So yes, you are correct that it's been mirrored on other sites for hours. The mirrored links probably came from downloading it from our site, which was one of the first to have it up and readily available for download. It's got some good competition. Halo 3, purely because of title and bound to be content. Super Mario Galaxy, purely because it should re-invent the entire platforming genre and a couple of others.
