The Many Costumes of Mario

If Mario in a ridiculous bee costume isn’t cute enough for you, there are certainly plenty of other options. Putting our faithful plumber into equally stupid-looking outfits could pretty much be considered a series staple at this point. Frogs, Racoons, Doctors, no subject is too taboo. Here’s a brief glimpse of some of Mario’s varied wardrobe.

    Where’s the dressup game?

Best two were the Tanuki and Hammer Bros. suits. Both looked awesome and were very useful. Both were fairly rare too. You could only get the Hammerbrothers one once in World 6 (providing you beat a certain level first) and I think once in one of the late levels in World 7. Tanuki was harder to come by after World 5.

Cape Mario is considered a “costume change”, yet Wing Mario, Vanish Mario, and Hatless Mario are not? WTF! XD
    Hatless Mario = win!

I’m liking the look of Bumblebee Mario. Very cute ^^

It’s amazing how many times Mario played dress-up in Super Mario Bros. 3.
